General Terms and Conditions
1. General
These terms of use include the terms and conditions for the use of Valio Aimo’s electronic information service www.valioaimo.fi and product information service www.valioaimo.fi/tuotteet. The Services are maintained by Valio Oy (hereinafter the Service Provider) and are available on the Internet at www.valioaimo.fi.
2. Content of the Services and Copyright
The services provide information about Valio Oy, food and nutrition information, as well as information about the ingredients, nutritional content and composition of Valio Oy’s products (Food Act 361/1995, Section 6). For Valio’s corporate customers’ staff, the service provides customer materials from the material bank.
The nutrient content information displayed in the food and baking instructions has been calculated using the nutrient content information of Valio’s products, the Fineli® food composition database, and the nutrient content information of other product manufacturers’ products. Nutritional information in the instructions is indicative. They do not take into account, for example, possible losses in cooking.
To link parts of the service to another website for profit or to produce new databases, you must obtain the permission of Valio Oy.
All material presented on the Service Provider’s website is the Service Provider’s property. The brands, text, sound, images and other material on the website are protected by trademark, copyright and other intellectual property rights. Even partial copying and use of the material presented on the website for the production of new publications and/or databases, as well as other commercial exploitation, is prohibited.
When citing the material (citation right), the source of information must be mentioned as Valio’s electronic information service at valioaimo.fi.
3. Liability of the user
The User shall be fully liable for any damage caused by the User as a result of any use, act or omission contrary to these Terms of Use. The User is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided by him/her, and is obliged to inform of any changes that have occurred in them.
The User accepts the Service Provider’s right to inform the User directly of the operation of the Service or changes related to the use of the Service using the contact information provided by the User. The purpose of the contact data is the management and maintenance of the customer relationship between Valio and the User; the planning and development of Valio Group’s business; the performance of statistical and market research; Valio Group’s advertising, marketing and direct marketing.
4. Liability of the Service Provider
The Service Provider shall not be liable to the User or a third party for any errors or omissions contained in the Service or for any damage caused by interpretation.
The Service Provider shall not be liable to the User or a third party for the suitability of the general service for any specific purpose or for the professional service for any other purpose than mentioned.
The Service Provider shall not be liable to the User or a third party for damages caused by possible interruptions in the functioning of the Service or possible technical failures of the Service. The Service Provider shall not be liable for any damage that may result from the operation or inoperability of the service.
5. Developing the content and operation of the service
Valio Oy reserves all rights to change the content and functions of the service in order to develop the service.
6. Dispute resolution
Disputes concerning the use of the service shall be resolved in the Helsinki District Court.
